Line of beer

Head to the Waverley Park Beer, Music and Poetry Festival this weekend

As if the Isle of Wight boutique Gin Festival wasn’t enough to look forward to this weekend, tomorrow (Friday) sees the return of the Annual Waverley Park Beer, Music and Poetry Festival.

This fundraising event, raising money for the British Heart Foundation, takes place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at The Waverley Caravan Park in East Cowes.

What’s on offer
The weekend promises music, poetry, comedy and a range of great beers.

Music kicks off from 7pm on Friday, from 3.45pm on Saturday and from 4pm on Sunday. There’ll be comical entertainment from the comperes and poetry between all the acts over the entire weekend.

Saturday welcomes the francy dress theme of Latin American and Mexican, so you can get your salsa on with Vote Pedro and Toca Bonito.

Free family-friendly event
The event will be 100% family friendly until 9pm, after which there may be some adult humour.

It’s free to enter and organisers hope to smash the amount raised last year (£2,000) for this great cause.
