Frank James Hospital

Vote for Josh: A dedicated friend of Frank James Hospital

This Saturday sees what may the last gathering of the Friend of Frank James Hospital.

Josh Aitken-Dunkeld, one of the youngest Friends campaigning for the protection of the former hospital has been advised by the owners that work is due to start on the site in three weeks.

He said,

“We will still believe it when it happens, but after months of debate, finalising mortgages and getting quotes for building work, this could be the final chapter of our story.”

The last possible last gathering is being held on Saturday 24th September (Isle of Wight Day) between 1.30pm and 4.30pm. Everyone is welcome.

A lasting memory
Josh finished by saying,

“I was determined to leave our mark on Frank James so I had a commemorative plaque made for my pear tree, so that the owners will always know that we The Friends of Frank James saved this building!”
