Chris Whitehouse

Chris Whitehouse was elected as Isle of Wight councillor for Newport West in May 2013.

Chris Whitehouse has previously been the Deputy Leader of South Bucks District Council.

He’s Managing Director of The Whitehouse Consultancy Ltd, which he founded in 1998.

He became Executive member for Children’s Services in January 2017, under the leadership of Conservative, Dave Stewart.

The treatment of staff and pupils at Sandown Bay Academy by its sponsor, Academies Enterprise Trust, was described as appalling, atrocious and disappointing by councillors. They voted to have AET removed from all Island schools.
