There were some great efforts from the Ryde Rowing Club at the weekend, when they competed at the Coalporters Rowing Club Regatta

There were some strong performances at the Poole Regatta, but the Men’s Senior Fours were the stars of the show.

Prior to the Regatta an informal ceremony was held as the club launched a new Coastal Four.

The Regatta had a near record entry of one hundred and twelve crews and scullers from the thirteen participating clubs.

There was a surprise win at the Hants and Dorset Amateur Rowing Association Regatta at Milford-on-Sea over the weekend.

Rowers from Ryde Rowing Club competed in their second event of the season at the weekend – the Southampton Rowing Club Coastal Head of the River.

The Wightlink sponsored Club had a young and relatively inexperienced team afloat several making their racing debuts for the Club - but produced an encouraging set of results.

There's a family connection as the main sponsor for the 2019 regatta is revealed, as well as continued support from a Isle of Wight ferry company.

Sponsors, supporters and helpers of Ryde Rowing Club were entertained at an informal gathering at their Clubhouse on Friday evening (25th January) to thank them for their support during the last year.
