Members of the Isle of Wight Council are due to consider and vote on the future provision of 11 to 16 and post-16 school and college places at the Full Council meeting on the evening of Wednesday 8 July.

The Chairs of the Island Innovation Trust and IIT Governing Body share an open letter to all councillors in advance of next week's debate on the future of schools. They argue the councillors will not be in possession of all the facts needed to make an informed decision on closure of Carisbrooke College.
Pupils:
On the last day to share your views on future of 11+ education on the Island, The Island Innovation Trust said that another ‘reorganisation’ through any merger at would undermine the progress made at Medina and Carisbrooke Colleges.
