Isle of Wight Council have confirmed today that the Cowes Floating Bridge which was supposed to return to service on 23 March has been delayed but is expected to return to service on Monday
East Cowes is the arrival point for many people visiting the Isle of Wight, as Red Funnel have their car ferry port here.
The area is rich with boat building history and well as the more obvious Queen Victoria connection with Osborne House.
