Southern Vectis Bus Routes Back In Service For all those who use buses on the Island, you’ll be interested in this message from Southern Vectis as to the status of the bus service this afternoon. Ed

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused by the weather related cancellation of services this morning.

Unfortunately conditions on the Island’s roads led to all services being withdrawn for a while, in the interests of public safety, and to ensure customers were not stranded on buses.

All buses are expected to be operating on their normal routes again by 1400hrs this afternoon, though timetables are still disrupted.

Our Operations Team are on duty overnight, and will be assessing conditions in individual areas of the Island prior to the normal commencement of services tomorrow morning around 0500hrs.

Ref; Service No;7
It is not always clear that there are 2 routes on this service, and I feel that it would assist to have the Shorwll-brighstone-brook portion shown as
for example 7a. These last few days we have been misled when we have heard that No;7 is running, only to find it did not include the Shorwell portion.
