Take Part In Tourist Information Centre Survey

Tourist Information Centres (TICs) are the latest service to be put under scrutiny by the Isle of Wight Council.

As well as libraries and help centres, a survey of the use of Tourist Information Centres is underway.

Many will not be aware that Tourist Information Centres aren’t just for tourists.

Used by Islanders too
Those working at TICs tell us that many Islanders use them to find out what’s going on, buy tickets for events, book National Express tickets, buy garden waste bags or pick up timetables for buses, trains and ferries to name but a few.

If you area user of the service, please take the time to complete an online survey, the council say that your views will help to shape the future of the service.

We’re not sure how tourists are being targeted for the survey, other than being given a paper version to complete.

You only have until 19th September so better get your skates on if you want your voice to be heard.
