It’s the clifftop path from Sandown to Shanklin and yes, it’s the Sandown end. Doh!

Actually it is the entry road to Seacroft Hotel who own it but the proprietor allows pedestrians along it who often abuse her when she drives her own car down it, but the interesting aspect are the ammonites & carved stones set in the wall.
Interesting trivia about the Summerland Amusement Arcade – it used to be a seaplane shed at Bembridge for The Nizam of Hyderbad’s Own Squadron. Beat that for obscurity.
Paul Robeson sang at Shanklin Pier.
