Today sees the return of the Sandown Fun Day. The event will be supporting Sandown & Shanklin Independent Lifeboat, Sandown Carnival and KissyPuppy.
Taking place in Sandown between 10.30am and 3.30pm, ending with the Grand Finale Prize Draw where you could win £500 cash, Camp Bestival tickets, Food Hampers, Jewellery, Hotel breaks, Gift Vouchers and more! Tickets are just 50p each from most Sandown shops.
There’s loads to see and do throughout the day.

Head to the Fancy Dress Photo 
Booth (Methodist Hall, York Road) where the photographer will take your picture and enter you into the competition to win a pair of Bestival Tickets.
If the wind is too high, you can also find the stalls, tombolas and stands in the hall.

Pop into the shops for last minute gifts or sample the street market stalls.
Pie & Mash, muzza’s mulled wine, roast chestnuts, sweets and candy-floss.
There’ll be live music from Spike Oatley, Baptist Church carols, Salvation Army band, Company B (40s swing band) and Something About Mondays.
Visit Santa’s grotto
Santa arrives on his sleigh at 10.30am to take last minute requests from girls and boys in his Grotto until 3.30pm.
Don’t miss the Inshore Rescue lifeboat on show until 1pm.
The High Street will be closed from junction with Albert Road to junction with Pier Street all day.
