As mentioned at the weekend, we will be attending the inquest this morning of the tragic sudden death of a Ryde woman which took place last Wednesday evening.
We will be reporting live from the Coroner’s Court immediately after the inquest is opened and adjourned.
We’re informed that this will be taking place around midday, so keep your page refreshed to hear the results.
Update: The 37 year old woman was named by the Coroner as Kari Ann Paxton. Sadly, her daughter was present when paramedics found the body. The coroner confirmed that Ms Paxton had died from hanging.
He also stated that Police are making further enquiries regarding the circumstances surrounding the death.
Although not mentioned by the Coroner, we hear from other sources that Ms Paxton previously worked in the Early Years Division of Children’s Services at the Isle of Wight Council before moving recently to the finance division. More news when we receive it.
