Dis-satisfied with the lack of public hustings that have taken place on the Isle of Wight in the run up to the General Election, one candidate has taken it upon himself to try to organise a final public hustings.
Organiser, Independent candidate Peter Harris, has confirmed that himself, Paul Randle-Jolliffe and Paul St John Martin have all agreed to attend. He has yet to hear back from the other invited candidates.
Former prospective parliamentary candidate, David Holmes, has agreed to chair the meeting.
The event which is open to all members of the public, takes place at the Ambassador Snooker Club (opposite Argos) in Gunville Road, from 7.30pm tomorrow evening.
We’ll let you know once other candidates confirm whether they’ll attend or not.
