If you’re wondering what you’re going to do to keep the kids entertained over the coming weeks, why not consider signing them up for sessions at the Ventnor Holiday Club (VHC)?
The Extended Schools Programme will be offering a pilot holiday provision in Ventnor for part of July and August this year.
There’ll be four sessions a week (Mon-Thurs) with most of them lasting for four hours each.
Who can attend?
The sessions will be open for kids aged between 5 and 12 years old and we hear that the activities will be divided between two age groups (5-8 and 8-12).
The VHC will be running from the St Boniface Primary School site; however some activities for children age 8+ may run from Rew Valley and Ventnor Youth Club.
What’s on the cards?
Creativity and fitness are factors. Sessions include art and sports based activities and some sessions will include additional activities such as street dance, circus skills, nature walks and mini beasts.
How to book?
You’ll need to book your sessions in advance. That way VHC will be able to ensure they have safe staff ratios.
All staff are employed by the school community and additional staff within the local authority, who regularly work with school age children and are CRB checked.
Amazing value for money
If all the great activities for your kids to enjoy this summer wasn’t enough, the Extended Schools Programme have been able to subsidise the cost of these sessions by 50%.
This means that most sessions will be only £4.00 per child (excluding Friday 23rd July – Football Multi Skills day)
If you’re interested in booking some sessions get in touch with Suze 07974 223938 asap.
