This Wednesday evening, the Ventnor Town Council’s Plans Committee will be considering several planning applications.
The agenda items include the proposed Tesco development on the High Street.
Tesco are applying for an extension to the time limit for implementation of the planning permission which expires on 11 February 2011.
We had been told by someone who works at the Ryde shop that work was planned to start this November, but we assume from the extension application, that this may have changed.
Also on the agenda is an application by the Ventnor Cricket Club, for change of use of the lodge, from changing rooms to a holiday accommodation.
In addition, an extension to planning permission for Manor Cottage in Marlborough Road,a dormer window at a property on St Catherine’s View and raised decking for a property in The Pitts are also under consideration.
