Many people have been in touch with VB over the last couple of weeks in relation to events promotion company, Harry Darby Media.
They claim that thousands of pounds are owed by Harry Darby Media to many Isle of Wight businesses including printers, media publications and others providing professional services to the company.
The offices of Harry Darby Media in Shanklin have been emptied and those chasing money owed to them tell VB they haven’t had their calls returned.
Police receive six allegations of fraud
The latest confirmation from Police is that they’ve now received six allegations of fraud from members of the public.
They go on to say, “Initial enquiries are continuing to establish whether there is evidence to suggest a criminal offence could have been committed. These enquiries are being led by detectives from Isle of Wight CID at Newport Police Station.”
