This coming Saturday sees the return of the West Wight Carnival.
Southern Vectis have been in touch with details of bus routes affected by the carnival as follows.
The carnival will leave Colwell Common at 15:02 to finish at Freshwater Middle School at 16:00
Bus diversions
Route 7 and Needles Breezers will be affected between 15:00 and 16:00.
Route 7 towards Alum Bay from Yarmouth
14:45 not affected
15:15 carnival will be proceeding along Madeira Road and will wait for the bus to pass before entering the
Broadway.

Route 7 towards Yarmouth from Alum Bay
15:14 carnival will wait for the bus to pass before entering the Broadway
15:44 bus to follow the carnival through Freshwater which may cause a short delay
16:14 not affected
Needles Breezer from Alum Bay
15:05 short delay while the carnival proceeds towards Madeira Road from The Broadway
