Objectors to Wow Fest, a four day world music festival planned for August 2012, are meeting tonight to discuss the possiblity of appealing against the Isle of Wight council’s licensing committee’s decision to grant a license to the organisers of the event.
A meeting is being held tonight at Shanklin Conservative Club from 6pm to which all residents are invited to attend.
On the agenda for discussion is the potential of an appeal, opposition to footpaths and rights of way closures and a campaign to boycott the event.
