On The Wight is very proud to be sponsoring the Feature Film section of the forthcoming Isle of Wight Film Festival which makes its way to Ventnor this week.
Six feature films are being screen in The Sacred Cinema (aka the Ventnor Youth and Community Centre opposite Spar on Victoria Street) and four of the selection include British Premières of films from around the World.
Tickets for each screening are just £5 and as the cinema is fairly small (55 seats) we’d definitely recommend you book your tickets online as soon as possible.

At the refuge, he meets Marianne, who is always screwing up, and Terje, who seems like he’s from another planet altogether. The three of them find they share a common dream, and together they embark on a journey of love, hate and trust. No one ends up where they planned, but everyone finds a home.

Dusk is a character study in which this group of teens is followed, to try and find a reason for this senseless act.
The IOWFF says, “The film has mind blowing performances in a crisply directed movie which leaves you stunned for days after you have seen it. Your first chance to see this great work in the UK on the big screen is an opportunity not to be missed.”
