Further to our report yesterday relating to residents’ concerns over a lack of public meeting with asphalt plant applicant Eurovia Roadstone, we now have an update.
Readers will remember that the public consultation on additional paperwork provided by the applicant closes on Friday next week, 21st September. Residents hoped that a meeting would be arranged prior to this deadline, to ensure they are fully informed before leaving comments.
27th and 28th September
Eurovia’s PR have been in touch with On The Wight revealing the dates for the public meetings. Strangely they fall a week after the public consultation closes.
Eurovia Roadstone will be holding two further consultation events for residents to meet the planning team and to hear more about the Asphalt Plant plans on 27 and 28 September.
Eurovia Roadstone anticipates that the public interest in the planning application will continue and is committed to keeping local residents informed about their plans and to provide them with the opportunity to discuss any concerns and queries directly.
Further details about these planned consultation events, times and locations will be provided shortly.
