It’s a shame to hear of another Isle of Wight venue closing it doors. We hope Jess and Chris have a great summer at the festivals and look forward to seeing them back in Newport later in the year. This in from The Loft. Ed
It’s been a fairly epic winter at The Loft. We’ve hosted album launches, Speakeasys, Rock n Roll Jives, Raves, International Hip Hop, Surreal Theatre, Alternative Cabaret, Burlesque, an In-House Jazz Funk Band, Lots of Local Live Bands, Gigs Galore and a whole host of Fantastic Parties.
We have worked with some of the most awesome musicians, DJs, artists, performers, promoters, geeks, freaks and party people. We’ve sung, we’ve laughed and we’ve cried with the best customers in the world…but now the fields are calling us once more.
Drawn the curtain for the time being
The Really Good Bar Company, the team behind The Loft, have to now return to the outdoors, Summer is calling us, so with a heavy heart, we have closed the doors and drawn the curtain on The Loft Club for the time being.
Unsung heroes
We would like to thank everyone for all their support over the last months, you know who you are, you have been amazing, but also a quick word for the unsung heroes, police and licensing, who have just let us do our thing.
Visit us in the fields
It’s been a blast and this certainly isn’t the last you’ve seen of us. We’ll be back with more music, more parties and more good times.
