If you’re looking for something different to do in the run up to the Christmas holidays, Quay Arts Centre in Newport might have just the thing for you.
How about an evening of promenade theatre, mixed with a festive feast and and late night disco?
Murder Most Fowl offers all three
The evening starts with a mulled wine reception in The West gallery where you’re introduced some of the characters taking part and continues into the Anthony Minghella Theatre for a half hour show performed by a professional cast of actors (several of which are from the Island).
We can’t reveal much more about the performance only to say that it is interrupted and the audience are led downstairs to the dining room for the three course festive feast.
The entertainment keeps on coming
During the meal, you’re kept entertained by the cast and are invited to take part – there are prizes, so it’s well worth it.
Once the meal and final performance has finished the disco kicks off in the room next door, allowing you to let you hair down and dance the night away.
The audience was a mix of couples, work colleagues and groups of friends, so basically suitable for anyone.
How to book
The show runs for the rest of the week (until Saturday 21st December) and tickets are priced at £28 per person which includes the mulled wine drinks reception, theatre show, three course festive feast, disco and dancing until late.
The bar will be open throughout.
