As mentioned in our earlier article about the future of Ventnor’s Coastal Visitor Centre, the Isle of Wight council’s Property Disposal and Capital Programme Sub-Committee will be meeting next Tuesday (11th at 5.30pm) to consider the 2014-15 Property Capital Receipts Disposals Programme.
The papers for the meeting (embedded below) show those assets that may be up for disposal in 2014-15 and beyond.
Community asset transfers
Seeing a number of ‘community’ libraries on the list may concern some readers, but be aware that disposal does not automatically mean the property will be sold on the open market. It also includes assets that may be disposed of via Community Asset Transfer.
