Who would have thought that one sunny afternoon a few years ago, after being asked by Sandown beach concessionaire, Norman, to strip a sunbed of its fabric, a sustainable Isle of Wight business with a worldwide client-base would be borne.
That’s exactly what happened to Georgia Wyatt-Willsmore. After stripping the sunbed, she took the fabric home and re-purposed it into a natty Tote bag and she’s not looked back since.

Highly desirable bags and accessories
Wyatt & Jack design and produce sustainable bags and accessories made from re-purposed beach deckchair canvas and retired bouncy castle vinyl PVC.
How brilliant is that!
It’s a fantastic idea that really took off. Over the years Wyatt & Jack created a range of products from tote bags to messengers, wallets, wash bags, kid’s stuff and even gift sets.
These days (June 2017) they focus just on their hugely popular tote bags and have around 50 stockists.
All the bags are made in-house on the Isle of Wight, either by Georgia or one of three lovely women who are helping her.

Since first forming the company in 2010, a whopping thirteen tonnes of fabric has been re-purposed and so obsessed are Wyatt & Jack with ensuring zero-waste.

Interesting collaborations
There’s been a great buzz about the company from the fashion mags to the world of surfing. So you wouldn’t be surprised to hear Wyatt & Jack were commissioned by the preppy designer label, Jack Wills, to create some of their super-sustainable products for the popular store.
At the same time, the team were also working on a 1,500 unit order for Dutch travel company Eliza Was Here, but the collaborations don’t end there.
