If you have things to do outside at the weekend, better choose Saturday, as the Met Office forecast heavy rain for the Isle of Wight all day Sunday.
They’ve issued another severe weather warning, valid from 0800 on Sunday morning until 0300 on Monday morning.
A slow-moving band of rain will affect the area on Sunday, the rain turning heavy at times, potentially leading to accumulations of more than 20 mm quite widely. There is the risk that the rain could turn to sleet or settling snow, especially over hills.
The public should be aware of the risk of localised flooding.
