The 49 year old man from Newport, Isle of Wight who was found on Sunday morning with serious head injuries has sadly passed away this morning (Monday).
Police confirmed the details this morning and say they are continuing to investigate the circumstances of his death.
The man, who has not yet been officially named, was found in St James’ Street, Newport just before 4am on 14th February.
Two 20-year-old men and a 21-year-old man from Newport have been arrested and remain in custody being questioned on suspicion of murder.
