ATHERFIELD:
Atherfield Road will be closed from 6.30am until 6pm on approximately 5 to 10 days between Friday 29 April and Friday 10 June 2016. Church Road will be closed from 6.30am until 6pm on approximately 5 to 10 days between Monday 11 April and Friday 27 May 2016. Balaambs Passage footpath will be closed from 8.30pm on Friday 8 January until 8.30pm on Friday 29 July 2016 between Bonchurch Village Road and The Pitts. The route for pedestrians will be: Bonchurch Village Road, Bonchurch Shute and The Pitts. The road closure is required until retaining wall repair works have been undertaken.
BRADING:
Harding Shute will be closed on one day from 9am until between Friday 6 May and Tuesday 10 May 2016. The closure is between A3054 Beaper Shute and West Lane for carriageway repairs by Island Roads.
BRIGHSTONE:
Limerstone Road (between Windymere and Limerstone Cottage) Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 9.30am until 3.30pm on Monday 16 May 2016 for the replacement of a telephone pole by British Telecom. Traffic delays are likely.

Purdy Road (on bend at junction with Fieldfare Road) Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 9.30am until 3.30pm on each day between Monday 23 May and Wednesday 25 May 2016 for carriageway cover works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
Spring Lane will be closed on each day from 9am until 4pm (Mondays to Fridays) between Monday 9 May and Thursday 12 May 2016. The closure is between Castle Hill and the end of the highway adjacent to Spring Lane Ford for tree removal works by Island Roads.
COWES:
Ronson Close will be closed from 9am on Monday 25 April until 4pm on Friday 20 May for the installation of a new water main by Clancy Docwra for Southern Water. The closure is from Love lane to the end of the highway.
Baring Road will be closed from 6.30am until 6pm on approximately 5 to 10 days between Friday 29 April and Friday 10 June 2016. The closure is from Tuttons Hill to Woodvale Road for carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, and drainage works by Island Roads. Park Road (Debourne Close to Reynolds Close) Temporary traffic lights will be in operation for a few hours on Tuesday 10 May and Wednesday 11 May 2016 for the installation of hazard marker posts by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
Mill Hill Road (junction with Gordon Road) Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 9am until 4pm on the Wednesday 11 May, Thursday 12 May and Friday 13 May 2016 for highway works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
Cycle Track CS6 will be closed to pedestrians, cyclists and horses from 9am on Tuesday 10 May until 4pm on Friday 13 May 2016 for the installation of a 450 mm water main from Ronsons Close to Broadfields Water supply works by Clancy Docwra for Southern Water. The closure is between Love Lane to the path leading to The Moorings (adjacent to number 18).
EAST COWES:
Esplanade will be closed from 2.30pm on Friday 25 April 2014 for the foreseeable future between 375 metres to the northeast of Cambridge Road and the end of the highway 860 metres to the northeast of Cambridge Road. There is no alternative route for traffic. This closure is necessary to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road due to a landslip.
Beatrice Avenue will be closed from 6.30am until 6pm on approximately 5 to 10 days between Friday 22 April and Friday 3 June 2016. The closure is from Harvey Close and Victoria Grove for carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, and drainage works by Island Roads. GODSHILL:
School Road / High Street will be closed from 7.30pm until 6am on approximately 5 to 10 nights between Friday 6 May and Friday 17 June 2016. The closure is from Hollow Lane to West Street for carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, and drainage works by Island Roads. LAKE:
Ranalagh Road / Cliff Road / Cliff Path. From 1200hrs on Friday 18 July 2014 for the foreseeable future the following roads / path will be closed to vehicular traffic: Cliff Road / Cliff Path will be closed from point 55 metres to the northwest of the junction with Ranalagh Road to point 185 metres to the south west of the junction with Cliff Gardens (the southern boundary of number 6). Ranalagh Road will also be closed from Cliff Road to a point 10 metres to the west of Cliff Road. During the period of closure there is no alternative route for vehicles. The closure is required due to erosion. Pedestrian access will be maintained as usual.
A3055 Sandown Road (from Winchester House to Cemetery Road). Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 9.30am until 4pm on each day (Mondays to Fridays) between Monday 9 May and Friday 13 May 2016 for footway works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
NEWCHURCH:
The Shute (outside 3 The Square) Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 8am on Tuesday 31 May until 4pm on Friday 3 June 2016 for the installation of a gas service connection by Southern Gas Networks.
NEWPORT:
Whitepit Lane will be closed from 9am until 5pm on approximately 2 days between Monday 11 April and Sunday 8 May 2016 from Elm Grove to St Johns Road. Coppins Bridge Roundabout (all approaches) Temporary Lane closures will be in operation from 7.30pm until 5amon the nights of Tuesday 10 May, Wednesday 11 May and Thursday 12 May 2016 for lining works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
Forest Road (various locations between access road to Parkhurst Forest car park and approx. 750 metres Shalfleet side of Gunville Road junction. Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 7.30pm until 11pm on each evening between Wednesday 11 and Friday 13 May 2016 for drainage works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
Blackwater Hollow (outside Pidford Manor) Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 9.30am until 3.30pm on day between Wednesday 11 and Friday 13 May 2016 for drainage works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
Castlehold Lane will be closed to pedestrians from 8am on Monday 9 May until 5pm on Friday 13 May 2016 for sewer works by P Fitsimmons Dynorod. The closure is from High Street to Pyle Street.
Staplers Gyratory / Staplers Road will be closed from 9.30am until 3.30pm on Monday 9 May, Tuesday 10 May and if necessary on Wednesday 11 May 2016 required for carriageway remedial works by Gracelands for Barrett Homes. The closure is on the Northern side of Staplers Gyratory and Staplers Road between the Western end (outside 123 Staplers Road) to outside 135 Staplers Road and to Staplers Gyratory junction with Long Lane. Traffic will be diverted along the Southern Side of Staplers Gyratory during the works and temporary traffic lights will be in operation.
Medina Avenue (outside 43 to 47). Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from Tuesday 10 May until Saturday 14 May 2016 for the installation of a new water service by S Cox Builders.
NEWPORT / BLACKWATER:
The Newport to Sandown Cycle Track Route 23 will be closed to pedestrians, cyclists and horses on each day between Monday 9 May and Friday 13 May 2016, from 9am until 4pm for repair works. The closure is between Shide Road (Newport) and Sandy Lane (Blackwater).
ROOKLEY:
Highwood Lane (approx. half way between Chillerton and Rookley) Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 9.30am until 3.30pm on each day between Monday 9 May and Wednesday 11 May 2016 for carriageway repair works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
RYDE:
Stroudwood Road (from Carters Road to Kempthill Farm) Temporary traffic lights will be in operation at times during the period from Wednesday 11 May until Friday 13 May 2016 for highway works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
Binstead Hill (outside Pitts View) Temporary Lane closures will be in operation from 7.30pm until 11pm on the evenings of Wednesday 18 May, Thursday 19 May and Friday 20 May 2016 for highway works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.

The closure is from Victoria Road to Royal Street for carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, and drainage works by Island Roads. The one way restrictions will be temporarily suspended to allow access. Avenue Road will be closed from 8pm on Saturday 7 May until 2pm on Sunday 8 May 2016 between Perowne Way to Tamar Close. The closure is required for the replacement of Sandown Railway Bridge decking by Southwest Trains.
The main diversion route will be: Perowne Way, Station Approach, The Fairway, Lake Hill, The Broadway and Avenue Road. During the closure the width restriction in Yaverland Road, Yaverland will be temporarily suspended between Marshcombe Shute and a point 234.5 metres south-west of its junction with Meadow Way (entrance to Yaverland car park).
SHANKLIN:
Cliff Path will be closed from 9.30am on Monday 20 January 2014 for the foreseeable future to pedestrians from Skew Bridge Path to Winchester House Car Park. The closure is required due to erosion/ land movement. During the period of closure the alternative route for pedestrians will be; Skew Bridge Path, A3055 Sandown Road and Winchester House Car Park.

ST LAWRENCE:
A3055 Undercliff Drive will remain closed from St Catherine’s Road to Seven Sisters Road (Western Junction), between Barrington Lodge, near to the western junction with Seven Sisters Road and Mirables which is located about a mile towards Niton. Following significant ground movement in the area in early February 2014, Undercliff Drive has been physically closed between Mirables (in the west) and a point 560 metres to the West of Seven Sisters Road (in the east) for safety reasons. There is now no access for vehicles or pedestrians. A formal road and footpath closure will be in operation for the foreseeable future. Access to businesses and attractions in Undercliff Drive will be maintained. During the period of closure the alternative route for traffic will be; Pedestrians; A3055 Undercliff Drive, Public Footpath V81, V77, NT28, NT29, NT30 and A3055 Undercliff Drive. Cyclists and Equestrians; A3055 Undercliff Drive, Seven Sisters Road, St Lawrence Shute, Whitwell Road, Ventnor Road, High Street (Whitwell), Kemming Road, Chatfield Road, Rectory Road, High Street (Niton), Institute Hill, Barrack Shute and A3055 Undercliff Drive.
VENTNOR:
Longdown Steps Public Footpath V102 will be closed from 10am on Monday 12 May 2014 for the foreseeable future between South Street and St Catherine’s Street. This closure is necessary to avoid danger to persons using the footpath until wall repair works have been undertaken
The diversion route for pedestrians will be; South Street, West Street, High Street, Victoria Street, Wheelers Bay Road and St Catherine’s Street.
Castle Road (between Zig Zag Road and Gills Cliff Road) Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from Tuesday 30 December 2014 until approx. August 2016 until retaining wall works have been completed by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
WHIPPINGHAM:
Public Footpath N214 will be closed from Crematorium Road to Public Footpath N114 from 9am on Wednesday 5 August 2015 for the foreseeable future. The closure is required until urgent repair works have been undertaken to B171 Whippingham Cattle Creep. The alternative route for pedestrians is; Crematoriums Road, A3054 Lushington Hill, Racecourse and Fairlee Road.
Public Footpath N221 will be closed from Island Harbour to the Folly from Tuesday 26 April 2016 for the foreseeable future until repair works have been undertaken. The closure is required as the footpath is unsafe due to a landslip. The alternative route for pedestrians is; Mill Lane, Fairlee Road, East Cowes Road, Whippingham Road and Folly Lane
WHITWELL:
High Street (junction with Kemming Road) Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 9.30am until 3.30pm on each day between Monday 9 May and Wednesday 11 May 2016 for carriageway repair works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
