A 25-year-old man of no fixed abode will appear at Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court this morning (Monday 7th June).
Police officers investigating a burglary series in Newport have charged the man with the following offences:
- Two counts of aggravated burglary
- Two counts of robbery
- Two counts of kidnap
- One count of burglary
- Two counts of possessing a bladed article in a public place
Police issued an appeal on Friday 4th June for anyone to get in touch if they had information about suspicious activities on 2nd or 3rd June in the Marvel Lane or Whitcombe Road areas.
