This coming Friday (6th June) at 1:30 pm the Friends of Frank James will hand over their Petition at County Hall, Newport, urging the Isle of Wight Council to issue an Urgent Works Notice to the owners of the Frank James Memorial Hospital.
Well over 2,500 signatures have been collected so that the issue can be debated at the coming Full Council Meeting on the 18th June.
Cllr Roger Whitby-Smith will receive the Petition and our Isle of Wight MP, Andrew Turner, will also be present at the hand-over.
The Friends are very grateful to Andrew Turner and Carole Dennett who have been a steady support to our cause.
We now hope the issue will be taken further in order that Frank James finally can be saved for generations to come.
