A couple of months ago, OnTheWight ran an appeal for help in turning 150 handlebars on bicycles soon to set off to Africa.
The appeal was run on behalf of the brilliant Island charity Re~Cycle: Bikes to Africa.
Sue Bailey has been in touch this morning with a quick shot of the bikes in transit
She says,
“On our way to Colchester with another 77 bikes donated by Islanders.
“Looking forward to meeting one of the people who works in Zambia at the Koloko Trust.”
