Unique history book sale to benefit East Cowes Heritage Centre

East Cowes Heritage recently received a large donation of pre-loved books, many of which are focused on the history of East Cowes and the wider Isle of Wight.

The collection has been sorted carefully, with several volumes now added to the Heritage Centre’s Reference Library.

This library, which contains an extensive range of books about the Island with a particular focus on East Cowes, is open to the public for viewing.

A treasure trove for Island history enthusiasts
Visitors to East Cowes Heritage can explore this rich library collection from Monday to Saturday between 10am and 1pm. The Centre is closed on Sundays and will also be closed throughout January.

In addition to expanding the reference library, East Cowes Heritage plans to sell many of the donated books to raise funds for the Centre. These sales will offer the public a unique opportunity to purchase some excellent volumes, with many in pristine condition and perfectly suited as Christmas gifts.
