As Reuters report that Russia has hiked its 2025 defence spending by 25% to 6.3% of GDP, Keir Starmer en route to Washington to receive his orders from Donald Trump, has announced that the UK will raise its defence spending from 2.3% to 2.5% of GDP …… by 2027.
I guess that should buy some slingshot for our armed forces Trebuchets. Too little too late?

A Royal visit thrown into the mix might go down well. Perhaps Prince Andrew could take Donald to Pizza Express in Woking, they could chat about old times with their mutual friend Epstein over a Quattro Formaggi and coke?
66% increase in water bills
Elsewhere Southern Water is soaking its customers this week with up to a 66% increase in water bills.
Rumours that these jokers might use profits to aid the Ukrainian war effort by providing water pistols pre-filled with some of their discharged water, have yet to be confirmed.
