There we have it. Trump and JD Vance have just shown themselves to be little more than playground bullies who say to their victim, give us all your pocket money otherwise we’ll let our mates beat the stuffing out of you.
As for all this hogwash about a, ‘special relationship’, that’s surely now assigned to the ash heap of bilateral cliches. Any zero tariff trade deal will probably go like this ……give us your NHS and you can have some of our chlorinated chicken, with Trump then telling us we need to be grateful.
Creating a climate of fear and angst
As for Trump’s third term in office? Well the seeds are already being sown. Escalating worry about a third world war will be used as a reason to say elections can’t be held at this particular time.
When you elect people who have no intention for delivering for anyone other than themselves, you need to create a climate of fear and angst amongst the population in order to maintain control and power.
