Of course it's disappointing that vandals have damaged Ventnor's skatepark (BTW - Can you help fix it up?) - but let's not be disheartened - There's some good news on the horizon for a much more secure future.
Last summer Goddards Brewery launched Wight Trash Pale Ale and committed to donating 10p per bottle sold to the Ventnor Skatepark project. It's raised £300 so far!

To help with any bids for grants to help build a concrete skatepark, Ventnor Skatepark are going to apply for charitable status. For that, they need members. You don't have to live in Ventnor to join.
