If you’re a fan of school fairs and happen to be in Ventnor today, you’re in luck.
Starting at 11.30am is the St Catherine’s summer fair. As usual there’ll be lots of entertainment on offer, plenty of stalls to buys crafts and plants (and sweets) and the infamous auction.
Once you’ve finished there, you can pop over to St Wilfrid’s primary school for their last ever school fair before closure.
Kicking off at 1.15pm, the event features all the usual school fair regulars, raffle, bric-a-brac, games etc.

Tomorrow sees the turn of Newchurch Primary School with their school fair.
Hog Roast, Ice Creams, Fairground Attractions, Pony Rides, Games, Refreshments, Coconut Shy, Homemade cakes, Ryde Arena Ice Skating Rink, Brass Band, Bouncy Castle, fancy dress competition and even a Special England World Cup area: Beat the Goalie, Find the Football, Name the team.
