Surfers Against Sewage launch a week of beach cleaning on the Isle of Wight from 11th – 17th September, as part of The Million Mile Clean. Their biggest clean up campaign ever.
There are multiple beach cleans happening around the Island with the main event happening at Bembridge Beach on Saturday 11th Sept at midday.
All equipment provided
There’s no need to sign up beforehand, just show up at the meeting point, grab some kit, and get stuck in.
All beach cleaning equipment is provided by Surfers Against Sewage for free.

Saturday 11th September

Sunday 12th September

Monday 13th September
10:00am – Shanklin Beach (Meet on the beach opposite the crazy golf)
3:00pm – Sandown Beach (Meet on the beach in front of Driftwood Beach Bar)
Tuesday 14th September
10:00am – Hanover Point Compton Beach (Meet on the beach down the steps from the national trust car park)
3:00pm – Ventnor Beach (Meet on the beach in front of the lifeguard hut)
Wednesday 15th September
10:00am – Gurnard Bay (Meet on the beach in front of the beach huts)
3:00pm – Appley Beach (Meet on the beach opposite the beach café)
Thursday 16th September
10:00am – Freshwater Bay (Meet on the beach)
3:00pm – Colwell Bay (Meet on the beach)
Friday 17th September
10:00am – Ryde Beach (Meet on the beach to the left of the pier)
