Two bids have been submitted for funding from the Government. One designed to encourage upgrades to tourism premises, and the other to develop an energy centre linked to tidal power.
A 37-year-old man from London has been arrested in relation to this investigation on suspicion of a number of offences of fraud and has been bailed until October 24 pending further enquiries.
