Bestival
In 2016, Bestival reaches its thirteenth year and OnTheWight has news reports going back nearly as long as it’s been going, including having the World exclusive of their 2007 line-up.
The festival began life on the Isle of Wight in 2004 with just a few hundred people and very strong home-grown support. It quickly grew to a medium-sized festival entertaining 15,000-30,000 festival-goers.
Thirteen years later, with capacity for 55,000 revellers, the award-winning music festival is still held at Robin Hill County Park in the centre of the Island, with a franchise deal signed in Canada.
