Disabled service users from the Isle of Wight have won the right to proceed with a Judicial Review against the Isle of Wight council for changes to adult social care eligibility.
A new online service aimed at young people aged 0 to 25, with special educational needs and disability, has been launched by the Isle of Wight Council.
The council say the changes will make the process fairer, but one service user told OnTheWight the trauma of going through means testing was an unreasonable burden on those already under strain.
The County Press ran article with the misleading headline, 'Pupils suffer physical abuse'. Report caused outrage but correction only made on letters page and in For The Record (does anyone actually read that?)
