It's been revealed that John Giddings' Solo asked Isle of Wight council if they could stop paying the £50k that he currently pays for the use of Seaclose Park. They said no, but are considering a significantly reduced figure.

The Isle of Wight Festival was brought back to life by the Isle of Wight council and John Giddings has gone on to develop it in to a very large event.
Many large acts have now performed at the Seaclose Park site.
