The Isle of Wight Council has launched a campaign to encourage residents to help keep their waste and recycling collection crew safe during the winter months
The survey aims to gather residents' views and ideas on how the Island can recycle more and reduce its waste. The consultation will run until 23 January 2023
Building on similar initiatives developed by the fire service and police, the campaign features simple safety messages in the form of circular 'pictogram' stickers with an overarching message: 'It's not worth the risk'
In extreme temperatures, the risk of rockfalls along the Island's coastline is even greater than usual, so the council are reminder Islanders and visitors of the dangers of being on cliff edges and below them
Having been initially dismissed, Healthwatch Isle of Wight say it has repeatedly raised concerns with NHS England about the lack of dental care. Over the years the issue has continued to deteriorate
