As last night’s public meeting about cuts to Wightlink’s ferry services, Julia Bridgeman from the Solent Ferry Users Group explained the aims of the group.
As mentioned in our earlier report from the meeting, the Group will seek to enter a meaningful dialogue with the Wightlink and the other ferry companies over the cuts to services.
Julia told On The Wight last night that the next meeting for the Group takes place on the 14th January.

They’d like to invite anyone who will be able to take an active role in the campaign to attend the meeting.
This meeting is not intended for the purpose of listening to peoples’ views, but solely to agree a constitution, allocate roles to members and agree a way forward.
