Music lovers don’t forget that Saturday night sees the return of Alex Roberts to the Island when he plays at Quay Arts in Newport.
He played at the Kashmir Cafe marquee that Quay Arts ran at the IOW festival earlier this year and also appeared at Acoustic Originals last September (2007).
We’re told that if you’re not familiar with his talent already, think Martin Harley and Kelly Jo Phelps.
Tickets for the event are a mere £5 and from the sounds of it, well worth it.
