It isn’t just Buddy that the Ventnor Theatre Group have been working on.
Next month the group will be performing An Inspector Calls by J.B. Priestley (pictured).
Set in 1912, an upper crust English family dinner is interrupted by a police inspector who brings news that a girl known to everyone present has died in suspicious circumstances.
It seems that any or all of them could have had a hand in her death.
But who is the mysterious Inspector and what can he want of them?
This play will be ‘in the round’ at Whitwell Village Hall. The play takes place in one set (the dining room of the Birlings’ house), in real time. This is a dramatic device that keeps the audience’s attention on the dialogue as well as the timing of the entrances and exits.
Performed by Ventnor Theatre Group at Whitwell Village Hall, Ventnor Road, Whitwell at 7.30pm on 4th, 5th and 12th April.
All tickets £5.00 on the door or from Seasons newsagents in the High Street.
