Friends of the former Frank James Hospital have been in touch to report another break-in at the former hospital in East Cowes.
Last night (Sunday) vandals broke through the perimeter fence and damaged the boardings that secure the building.
Eye witnesses said there was a lot of police activity and police confirm they were called to the site after a report of a break-in at 10:18pm. No offenders found at the site, so no arrests were made and the break-in is currently under investigation.
The Grade II listed building has been the subject of vandalism many times over the past few years, whilst it sits undeveloped. A recent plea by the Friends called for the owners of the site to sell it onto someone who look after it.
