Sunday morning sees another Isle of Wight Girls Football Tournament take place.
This time a little closer to home for us, the tournament takes place at Ventnor Middle School.
Previous tournaments have seen Sandown and Lake and East Cowes take home the trophy at the end of each day.
The football training has been helped along with subsidies by the Isle of Wight council.
The training sessions have seen a great improvement not just in football skills but also the confidence and well being of the girls taking part, so three cheers to the council for supporting this initiative.
Wishing all the teams of 8-11 years old girls the best of luck tomoeow morning. Kick off at 10am.
