After our report last week of graffiti on the boards covering broken windows at the old Savoy Hotel in Sandown, it appears a clean up is in operation.
As you can see from the picture sent in yesterday (Wednesday) morning by a VB reader, the graffiti covered boards are being replaced with fresh clean ones.
The former hotel suffered extensive damage during a large fire in December.
We have taken the rare decision to turn comments off on this story. We understand there are strong feelings about this subject, but as the Police say there is no evidence of foul play, accusations left on VB could cause the commenter and us problems.
