This year Aspire Ryde will be once again providing free Christmas dinner for people who are alone or homeless.
In order to provide this vital community service, the team at Aspire would appreciate donation from Islanders.
Items needed
Items they require include:
- Mince pies with long use-by date
- Cranberry sauce / gravy / stuffing
- Tins of chocolates, After dinner mints
- Christmas crackers
- Selection boxes
- Small gifts
- Long life orange juice
- Soft drinks
You can drop donations off at Aspire, Dover St, Ryde.
Basic hampers
As well as providing the free Christmas dinner, Aspire will be putting together small basic hampers for those in need.
For these they would appreciate donations of basic goods such as tinned food, cereals, tea, coffee, sugar, tinned fruit, pasta, jam, pasta sauces, cuppa soups and toiletries.
