This weekend sees an Isle of Wight tour for an award-winning female choir, from Wiltshire.
Led by Felicity Courage, the Courage Choir tour has been about two and a half years in the planning, having been postponed twice since Covid.
The Choir will be performing three free concerts during their stay this weekend –
The first takes place as an outdoor concert at the Springfield Retirement home in Shanklin for the residents on Friday 1st October (residents will be watching from inside).
The second concert takes place at St Catherine’s Church in Ventnor on Saturday (2nd) at 7.30-8.30pm with all donations to the church and all welcome.
And finally a Sunday morning outdoor concert on Festival Street at The Needles Landmark attraction at 11.30am. Again free entry, but parking fees to the attraction apply.
No need to book in advance, just turn up (for Sat/Sun concerts).
