Bay Area Place Plan marks one year with first Annual General Meeting: All welcome

The Bay Area Place Plan is gaining momentum as it approaches the end of its first year since its official launch in January.

The plan, developed through comprehensive research and community consultation over 2023, builds on existing strategies and horizon scanning, while integrating the community’s key priorities.

Invitation to the community
The Bay Area Place Plan partners and the steering group are inviting the community to the first Annual General Meeting (AGM) of this initiative.

This meeting will provide updates on progress made so far, an opportunity to meet the members of the steering group and insights into upcoming projects.

Event details
Residents can attend the AGM at the following time and location:

  • Date: Monday, 11th November 2024
  • Time: 6.30pm
  • Location: Shanklin Voluntary Youth and Community Centre

Attendees will have the chance to interact with representatives from various interest groups, share their ideas and find out how to get involved with future activities.

A call for community input
The steering group is also seeking input from residents to help name the delivery mechanism for the strategy.
