There were some great firework events at the weekend on the Isle of Wight.
We loved the Sandown display, which took advantage of brilliant fireworks which bounce onto the water and then shoot up into the sky.
VB reader, Christian Beasley took his family along to the fireworks in Arreton and had his trusty video recorder in hand (or rather on the tripod).
Beautiful Bokeh
He managed to capture some great shots, experimenting with Bokeh (what’s this?). This is a term used in photography and refers to the artistic quality of blurring, which as you’ll see from the video below produces some beautiful results.
Set to music by Lohestana David, the four minute video provides a calming retreat from the day’s stresses, a tad more relaxing than the unfortunate one minute show we highlighted on Facebook last night.
